National Fingerprint Collection Clearing House (NFCC) was developed as a service to aviation and other transportation regulated parties who are required Criminal History Records Check (CHRC). NFCC was established subsequent to an agreement on September 23, 2002, between the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and National Air Transportation Association Compliance Services (NATACS). This agreement allows for an alternate means for collection of regulated party fingerprints for Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) in accordance with 49 CFR Parts 1542.209 and 1544.229. In addition to fingerprints being collected under direct observation by aircraft operator, airport operator, or LEO (as required by regulation), NFCC offers regulated persons a voluntary third party alternative to submit fingerprints.
All prints collected by NFCC will continue to be processed through channeling to American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). CHRC results are posted to company customers sites within the NFCC web server which can be accessed through a secure connection (SSL) by company Designated Employee Representatives (DERs).
NFCC as a subsidiary service of NATACS is authorized to train and certify fingerprint collectors to take prints from aviation regulated parties. Companies wishing to certify collectors at their company location may register to do so through this site. NFCC collectors are authorized to fingerprint all regulated parties and will receive compensation from NFCC for this service. Become a Collector.
Aviation regulated parties seeking to be fingerprinted for purposes of CHRC requirements may do so through NFCC certified collection sites or other authorized collection agents.
